“Why Should I Join Nigerians To Give My Due Thanks To President Führer Mohammedo Buahari?”

Questions Crusaders (Urhobo Radio station blog). A New Day With A New Beginning.

Question (1), Why should people of Delta State join Nigerians to render their due thanks to President Buahari, while Buahari administration is fruitless in Delta State?

I hope I will not be misunderstood when I am making this remark. I do appreciate what the Federal government has done so far. There is quite a good deal of activities that the government has carried out in special parts of the Country and, why should the other sections of the Country if not completely but almost completely neglected, join in thanking president Buahari for being so active, if I should say so? I find this very difficult to understand. I also find it awfully difficult to understand how the Federal government could have been so active and yet neglect certain areas of the Country.
I would like the government to understand, particularly Mr. President, that he is not being criticized unduly. Rather I only pointing out the qualities that hitherto coloured the policy of the APC federal government, so that those discrepancies may be effectively eradicated as the fighting against corruption is going on. Thus making the whole Country to celebrate the new Nigeria free of corruption together, unanimously ; not one section of the Country rejoicing because its life has been bettered by the suffering of a neglected few, and those not bettered remain to weep and gnash their teeth. All said I have to start with a few things.

I thank the Ministry of Work and Industry for all he has done in Lagos and other special parts of the Country. In this ministry I associat my opinion with what I have stated before :
“that in every ministry there is required a capable person to man it and if a capable person does man a ministry, there is no doubt that the amenities of that ministry will be fairly well distributed.

In the last award of federal government roads it was made clear that no single road was awarded in Delta State and even in Edo State. I began to wonder why award was not come from these States. It is unbelievable that these States have no bad roads in the eyes of the minister of Work but there are in Lagos State and other special parts of the Country. The minister announced a few months ago that Sapelle Eku Agbo road in Delta State have been awarded and Ekpoma Awishi road in Edo State. Now how does him consider it a very great achievement! When no single parts of these roads has been graded to show the sign of intention even when intention is not Realization.

TO my opinion, any minister who has the intention of doing good for the Country should take criticisms in good heart. But any minister who thinks that he is the seat of knowledge and therefore requires no criticism is treading on dangerous ground. The eyes does not see itself except by reflection or some other means.
As I was saying president Buahari administration is dealing with us in a raw deal. He is looking at Delta and Edo people as raw people. This is why his Minister for work, malam Babatude Fashola, becomes rat(disloyal) to the people and his political party.
Our political office holders always thought that those electing them are nothing but fowls. They believe at anytime they want to catch the fowl, they throw corn seeds to deceive it. Especially those in the rural areas, if you try to catch a fowl and the fowl is running from you, what do you do? You have to throw corn seeds to the front, and the fowl will rush it ; to the left, the fowl will rush at it and eat it ; to the right, to your back, closer to you, and then very close to your leg, as the fowl rush and eating it, you will then catch the fowl. This is how our political leaders win the masses during elections time. The people are the fowls who always rush after corn seeds and catch up with it.
Believe me or not… Before elections or during campaign, they promised us good roads, Stable electricity, borehole water, good Schools, good hospitals, scholarship to our children, market women empowerment, skills acquisition, industries and other thrilling social amenities. After elections no any of these numerous promises will be provided, awaiting another elections time to throw their corn seeds again. The corn seeds is the #2000, #5000 to #10,000 given to the people during election days to buy their mind to vote for their political party.

Question (2)
If the government is not the one to provide these things, why are they keep promising us these things? And
Question (3)
If it was the government on board is to provide these things but failed Woefully To Accomplish their promises, and keep failing us in every administration, why must the people still remain with them, voting for their political party and those they force on us at every election, what is the benefit of the corn seeds to the voters? We keep complaining after voting for them why we are the cause of our problems.
Good eighteen years of PDP In Delta State, we are still been promise of the same things they have been promising us since 1999. While two years of APC President Buahari administration has gone, Sapelle-Eku-Agbo Federal Highway is totally destroyed without federal government intervention. Our leaders fail to understand that good road is a part of security as Stable electricity. Maybe they are trying to cult us off from Nigeria and turn our States to grazing States.
I strongly believe that by 2019 general elections, president Buahari, after throwing his corn seeds to catch our palaces,, will promise us again these same federal highways. “I will tar your federal government roads if you and your family voted for my party.”
Question (5) Why is him not tarring our federal Roads now?
Thereafter, the social media would be floated with all the bad spots of our federal Roads and president Buahari APC promise of Dualisation with it benefits to our people. We want the road to be dualised now and receive it benefits.
ARISE Deltans, president Buahari is in office now, let him tar our federal Roads, he can’t promise us road in 2019 when we are not seeing the dividend of his administration in Delta State at moment. Time to do away with repeated promise from any political party in power.
If they failed to keep to their promise, you, me and all must vote them out. They don’t deserve to rule us. If you don’t need change, your children need it.
These leaders could best be described as traitors, because they are failing to maintain the respect that their office demand.

Well, I am going to say something about this federal government administration. I am to say that a new form of tragic force of disunity and bitterness has made its ride into our history on the back of innocent nationalism. It is partisanship. Party system is a necessary evil in every Democracy. It is in fact an inevitable concomitant of democracy. Party system has come to stay in this Country, and should be welcomed but should be rightly directed. Because senseless party bitterness and fanaticism are destructive to social cohesion. If carried too far they may even create violent conflicts which may destroy the people.
One section of the Country cannot be happy/laughing for the good roads president Buahari have tarred for them and other sections are crying for road with vain hope. All parts of Nigeria must laugh together.
So for the benefit of the federal government in the next general elections or the upcoming Delta State local government election, president Mohammedo Buahari should come to our aid by tarring the Sapelle-Eku-Agbo Federal Highway.
